- Due to causes mentioned earlier the foetus gets detached from its bonds, descends from the spaces of bowels and irritates the kostha (abdomen).
- Due to this irritation the apana vayu having abnormal movements produces pain in flanks etc.
- These symptoms followed by bleeding per vagina results in abortion.

- The foetus after getting detached from its bonds, is anxious to deliver and due to the hyper mobility of its body parts produces extreme irritation/stimulation to the uterus.
- Due to this hyperactivity of uterus the foetus descends (forcefully) from the spaces in-between the liver, spleen and bowels, causing irritation to the kostha (abdomen).
The foetus thus getting obstructed in its passage and having absence of further progress in known as mudhagarbha. |
