Disorders of the Breast(Stana-

The developed breasts of a woman consist of mainly skin,

vessels and nerves. The disease afflicting all these
anatomic components can develop in breasts also.
Breasts are also the seat of all types of sothas
(inflammations), vranas (ulcers), granthims and arbudas.
Due to the natural dilatation of orifices of these
dhamanis of pregnant or puerperal woman the dosas can
reach there, thus, they are susceptible for
breast-disorders.
