Reiki
with Reflexology
|
|
Reflexology,
the practice of treating the whole body by
touching the feet and sometimes the palms, is an
especially valuable example of a therapy, which
complements Reiki successfully. |
|
Every
part of the foot is represented by an organ in the
physical body. For example, by holding the inside
edges of one or both feet, you are in fact
applying Reiki to the spine. This is especially
useful for a self-treatment in a comfortable
position. |
|
By
placing your hands on the outside edge of one or
both feet, you are applying Reiki to every joint
on the edge of your body, travelling downwards
from shoulder, elbow and hip to the knee and ankle
on either side. |
|
Pressure
points for the various organs are fairly close
together on the foot, so you may have confusion
differentiating which part of the body you are
treating with Reiki. However, it doesn’t matter
as Reiki energy has its own flow which cannot be
changed. |
|
Some
reflexologists use their thumbs to channel Reiki,
as this is how they generally hold or massage a
pressure point when giving a treatment. |
