Symbols
are learned in second degree of Reiki. They can be
drawn, imagined and visualised.
|
|
The
First Symbol
|
The
first symbol is the power symbol, cho ku rei. It
creates the energy “God is Here”. It can be
used to empower and bless yourself, other living
beings, situations, inanimate objects etc. This
symbol can be used anywhere but often visualized
on the backs of the hands during the Reiki
treatment. It can be drawn anywhere; in the soil
of a diseased
plant, and in your plate with spoon. It is
effective for clearing a house where trauma has
occurred, or to welcome a new home. You can make
its paintings to decorate your walls to give a
joyful aspect to interior design, or in the
classroom for a lively lesson- this symbol brings
positive energy and life to every possible
situation.

The
Second Symbol
|
The
symbol, sei he (i) ki, helps in mental and
emotional healing wherever called upon. As its
energy is soothing, it can be drawn anywhere; even
in the air near a crying baby. You can draw it
anywhere, e.g., under your bed, or on a piece of
paper to place under your pillow, and in places
where there is conflict of any kind.
|
|
The
Third Symbol
|
This
symbol, known as hon sha ze sho nen, can be
interpreted as “May the Buddha in me reach out
to the Buddha in you to promote harmony and
peace”. It is used in sending Reiki healing over
distance or time, and it transcends both, acting
in the past, future and present simultaneously.
|
|
The
Fourth Symbol
|
This
symbol, known as Kundalini, is the life force
symbol from Raku-Tibetan Reiki. It is used to
balance chakras from the head downwards to the
root or base chakra. It is used by practitioners
in healing and prior to attunements.
