Status epileptics is a medical emergency, hence patient
should be hospitalized at the earliest. Further management in
the hospital is generally as follows:
- Maintenance of airway with oropharyngeal tube.
- Administration of high flow oxygen.
- Monitoring of BP, ECG, EEG and blood gases.

- Benzodiazepines.
- Diphenylhydantoins
