disease that arises at multiple sites within short span of time.

Look of the lesion
Red, or
violatous; in dark skinned people, they may appear brown or black,
well-defined,
flat or raised.
When multiple they tend to develop along flexures.
Prognosis
Lymphnode
involvement has poor prognosis.
Treatment
Local radiotherapy, especially for single lesions.
Combination chemotherapy
Use of anti-neoplastic drugs.
Non-hodgkin's lymphoma
Arises from: B-lymphocytes 80%,
T lymphocytes.
Sites
CNS (Central Nervous System),
Bone marrow,
GIT (Gastro intestinal Tract),
Liver.
Trigger factors
Fever
and weight loss.
Treatment
Combination chemotherapy.
Prognosis
Poor.
Carcinoma
There is an increased incidence of cervical dysplasia and neoplasia in
HIV infected females and anal carcinoma in HIV infected homosexual men.
