          Kalka means paste of coarsely powdered drugs with water or the paste of fresh leaves of herbs. 
 
          The drug from which Kalka is to be prepared should be washed well and grounded into a soft paste in a Khalwa yantra. It is mainly used for healing external wounds and internally for skin diseases, worms etc.
