Causes

The excessive and unguarded
use of skin lightening creams is very
dangerous and is the major cause of the disease.

These creams contain a chemical called
hydroquinone which interferes in the production of melanin.

They result in brown patches on the
skin which are caused as, these creams are unable to
lighten the post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Symptoms
