Exercising the hands helps to make them
flexible and improves circulation. The following exercises may be done, repeating them over six to ten times:
- Clench the fists tightly for a second and then throw open the fists as wide as you can.
- Putting your hands out in front of you with palm downward. Press the fingers tightly against each other and then thrust them apart as wide as you can.
Soak the tired hands for a few minutes in warm water, to which about two or three tablespoons of salt have been added. This provides great relief. Also soaking them alternatively in hot and cold water soothes the nerve endings and relieves the pains.
