reactions of the body at different
levels of physical activity.
- Warning signs gives alarm when
you have worked beyond your
strength.

Do's |
 |
- 6-8 hrs of sleep a day is
essential.
- Plan your work in such a way
that you have time to rest too.
- Do not overwork yourself.

Don'ts |
 |
- Avoid sudden strenuous and
prolonged activities.
- Precautions should be taken for
extreme changes in the weather
that would affect the heart.
- Avoid steep gradients, hills
& stairs, if unavoidable step
slowly and stop wherever
necessary.
- Avoid walking and exercising
after meals.
- Avoid lifting heavy objects and
other shoulder activities.
- Do not hold your breath while
doing any activity.
- Avoid muscle building activities
as this leads to an increase in
blood pressure which in turn puts
strain on the heart.
