Working of Points

When a user clicks on any of the links on the shopping mall page or if he wants to avail any of the SMAPS, he is directed to the transaction page. If he wants any information regarding the points then he is diverted to the point home page. 

The point system is basically an easier method of trading without the inconvenience of cash or the security constraints of a credit card. The concept of point system is based on the fact that you can avail of the customised services by paying in terms of points that is accessible for 24 hours. 

Thus all you need to do is subscribe for the points once and the amount of purchases get debited in the form of points in your account. 

For eg. if you purchase 1000 points, you will need to pay the amount equivalent to the points at one go. Then you are free to use these 1000 points as and when you want for availing all the services and products tailor-made especially for you.

The value of the debit points has been fixed as 1 INR = 10 points. So thus 1000 points will cost you 100 INR according to the value fixed and this 100 Rs. will be credited in your bank account. In this way you enter your credit card number only once while making the payment and hence it proves to be a secured transaction system. 

The other unique point is that after the entire transaction process is completed a confirmation, of the purchase of the varied services or products, is sent to the mail account of the user immediately.

The payment procedures are taken care of by the bank and hence one can be assured of the safety and smoothness in the transactions.

The transactions have been simplified for the user by providing information regarding the entire operation in the form of five links namely Purchase points, Status report, Account Statement, Block/reactivate account and Maximum limit.

The purchase point page gives information about the number of points you will want to purchase. It actually signifies that before starting your shopping spree, you can select the amount that you would like to spend, so that when you exceed that limit you would get a message saying that you have exceeded the limit and you can purchase for more points if needed by changing the limit. 

Once you have entered the number of points you want to purchase you will get a confirmation page stating the cost of the points purchased. So accordingly you can either purchase or if you change your mind you can re-enter the purchase points suiting your limit for expenditure. 

Net balance- Then you are diverted to the next page where it states the balance of your account. The first time you login, naturally your balance will be nil, but later whenever you want to purchase and if you have a balance it will be displayed similar to a bank account balance.

In the status report page you can view the balance of your account. The first time you login, naturally your balance will be nil, but later whenever you want to make a purchase and you want to know the balance in your account, all you need to do is click on the status report and get the related information. 

Account Statement is similar to a bank statement. Here you will get information regarding the date and time on which the purchases were made, the description of the purchases, the total balance etc. One can also take a print out of the statement, if needed for keeping a record. 

Block Account/ Reactivate account

Even after introducing cyber cops for keeping a vigil on the hackers, it is difficult to stop the influx of the hackers and hence to safeguard your account the concept of block system was implemented. 

Also, if you were not regularly purchasing goods then you would not be able to view your status account. So, to keep your account from being used by anyone else you can block it and when you want to use it again, you can reactivate it. 

The moment you block your account, you will get a confirmation message saying that your account has been blocked and no further transactions can take place. 
For continuing your transactions you will need to reactivate your account. For that you will have to fill in the secret answer, which you had fed in, at the time of registration. So, it is necessary for you to remember the secret question and answer that you had fed in at the time of registration. 

Maximum limit 

This facility has been provided for a secured transaction. Under this facility, you can set a maximum limit for using your debit points for any transactions, so that even if any outsider tries to misuse your account he would not be able to do so. As soon as your limit, which is set by, is over our system blocks your purchasing power and a message is displayed asking whether you want to increase the limit. 

Similarly, sometimes during the course of shopping you would feel like purchasing more at such times you can change the limit you had fed in before. 
For changing the maximum limit you will have to fill in the secret answer, that you had fed in, at the time of registration. So, it is necessary for you to remember the secret question and answer that you had fed in at the time of registration. Then you can fill in the new limit and start shopping again.

Security Question

The secret question is provided mainly for security purposes. As we believe that then it will be difficult for an outsider to access your account. In general it is easy to hack a password but it will be difficult to hack the answer you have fed in, as it will be a unique one.
Thus, here you have to fill in the secret answer, that you had fed in, at the time of registration. Hence it is necessary for you to remember the secret question and answer that you had fed in at the time of registration.
