Methods of use

When another person is not available to give a massage, or when it is not necessary, then self-application method is used. Rub the oils into the skin until they are fully absorbed. Then apply and rub a small amount of arrowroot or cornstarch powder onto the area to remove any remaining oil from the skin.

Aroma lamps
A number of beautiful and decorative aroma lamps are available to use as showpiece in the home or at the office. First, fill the container of the lamp with water and add essential oils into it. Then light or turn on the lamp. The fragrance of the oil diffuses into the air as the water heats.

Aroma bath
The pleasure of an aromatic bath is far better than bathing with plain water. To start with, select any of the bath formulas. Shut the doors and windows of the bathroom in order to stop the steam to escape out of the water. Fill your bathtub with warm water. Mix the formula with the carrier oil and pour it into the bath and then swirl the water to distribute the oils evenly in the water. Now its all set to take a pleasant bath. It will be an added pleasure in your bath if you turn on a soft music.

Powder
Body powders are used to scent and deodorize the skin. It's one of the medium to get the optimum use of aroma. Add required amount of a arrowroot powder or cornstarch into a small wide-mouthier glass jar. Add the essential oils, mix the ingredients thoroughly, cap it tightly and place it in a dark, cool space. Allow the powder to sit for a day prior to use.

Creams
Natural cocoa butter and shea butter are used as ingredients in making of creams which helps in nourishing and moisturizing the skin, and assist in bringing about soft and beautiful-looking skin. They apply easily and have a smooth and texture. Keep a wide-mouthed glass jar containing specified amount of the vegetable butter into a small pot of water, and heat on a low flame. As soon as butter melts, add the carrier oil to it and mix it well. Allow it to cool and then add the essential oils. Stir it well and tightly cap the jar. Let the cream cool completely and let it become creamy in texture before using. Store it in a dark, cold place.

Diffusers
Diffusers create an aromatic atmosphere for the indoor by dispersing a mist of essential-oil micro particles. Different types of diffusers with smaller and larger size depending upon the area to be fragranced are available in the market.

Inhalers
Inhalers provide quick results and they are very convenient to use. Add any formula in a wide mouthed bottle of approximately 15 ml. Cap the bottle and shake it gently to mix the oils. Tighten the cap and gently shake to mix the oils. Relax on a chair, open the bottle with the formula and inhale the vapors for some time. Inhalation should be done slowly and deeply. Close the cap and store it in cool, dark place for the next use. Repeated use of the formula causes a decrease in the potency and fragrance of the formula. Don’t throw away this used formula. Instead reuse the oils by combining it with essential waters and fresh essential oils in a fine-mist spray.

Preparation
Combine the essential oils in a small 4 ounce (7-5 ml) or 2 ounce (15 ml) glass bottle with a wide opening. Tighten the cap and gently shake to mix the oils.
